There are plenty of evil things in our world whether they are obvious or not. Some people choose to block out the bad, leaving them believing that everything is fine when it’s not. We are all probably dealing with things, some different some the same. I think that the most important thing to say in the beginning is that evil can’t win. Satan just can’t. Our Lord is stronger, and can beat him any day.
Evil is in everything including movies, tv shows, books, social media, and just out on the streets. It’s inescapable, but that’s exactly what the enemy wants. He wants it to be impossible to ignore so that people give in. Too many people tend to give in when something gets hard. The good news? Well, I have one word for you: Jesus.
Our strength is the Lord. He is our advantage, savior and protector. With him, we can fight against the enemy’s plan. Will it be easy? No, but the Lord will give us the strength and courage we need if we ask. Don’t be afraid. Jesus will protect you if you let him. We don’t have to be buried in all the things happening around us. We can rise above it.
Don’t block it out. Everything is not alright, and that’s okay. It hasn’t been for a long time. But don’t give in either. Jesus willtriumph and cleanse the earth once more. His people will bask in his glory and be filled with the joy of Christ. We have to stay strong so he has followers to come back to. Remember, our strength is not our own. May we stand firm and stare evil right in the face without backing down, for we have a God worth fighting for, and know that he is standing right there next to us.
