Loneliness can be a dangerous emotion. It’s an unrelenting force that can swallow you up if you don’t find a foothold. It can be tough when you feel ignored and alone. Few or no people lift you up and you start to cave in on yourself, digging yourself a hole and refusing to come out. After all, it’s safe in there. But I promise there is light at the end of the tunnel. A reason to rise out of the hole. His name is Jesus. Our Great Shepherd. Our Heavenly Father. He isthere for you; right next to you whether you believe it or not. He’s seen and felt everything you’ve gone through. Whatever you feel, He feels too. He has gone through His own mound of problems when He walked this earth and He truly understands you.
Like Jesus, we have our Heavenly Father to look to for help. There’s no need to be afraid. No need to feel alone anymore because, like it or not, He’s with you. Now, forever, always. “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels or demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:38-39
He will always be with you. Always willing to let you cry on His shoulder, willing to carry your burdens for you when you are weak. “Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” -2 Corinthians 12:8-9 The Lord can and will sustain you; help you through all problems. All you have to do is reach out to Him and welcome Him into your life.
